Fundraiser Dates: August 31 - September 11
You asked, and we listened! This fall, we're trying something completely new. No products to sell and no outside fundraising company. Instead, the Lincoln-Douglas PTO is running our first Pick a Date to Donate Calendar Fundraiser!
Our goal is to raise $10,000, and because we're doing this ourselves, 100% of the money raised stays with Lincoln-Douglas PTO to support our students and school. Funds help make things like field trips, student programs, classroom support, special events, and future school improvements possible.
Here's how it works

It's simple! Ask family and friends to pick a date on your child's calendar and donate that dollar amount.
Pick the 5th = $5
Pick the 17th = $17
Pick the 7th, 10th and 25th = $42
You can choose one date or several dates. As donations come in, write the donor's name on or mark off each date claimed on your child's calendar. Each date can only be filled once per student's calendar.
Your child does not have to fill the entire calendar to participate. Every date filled helps!

Families can collect donations however works best for them. Donations may be submitted:
Online through Zeffy – Scan the QR code or visit our fundraiser page. Be sure to enter the student's name and select their teacher/grade so they receive credit.
Cash – Please collect donations and return one combined cash payment in the provided envelope.
Check – Please collect donations and return one check payable to Lincoln-Douglas PTO in the provided envelope.
A combination – Online donations will be tracked by the PTO. Simply return any remaining cash/check donations with your child's calendar.
Please do not send individual cash or check donations to school as they are collected. Families should collect them and submit them together at the end of the fundraiser.

Zeffy is free for our PTO to use. During checkout, Zeffy will ask if you'd like to make an optional contribution to support its platform. This contribution is optional and does not go to Lincoln Douglas PTO. If you don't want to add anything extra, choose “Other” and enter $0.

No matter how you pay, every student should return their completed calendar in the provided envelope by September 11 so we can verify the dates filled and award prizes.
Please clearly write your student's first and last name and teacher on the envelope.

Text it. Email it. Share a picture of the calendar with Grandma. Post it on social media!
Let friends and family know which dates are still available. If they donate online, send them our Zeffy link/QR code and remind them to enter your child's name and teacher so the donation is credited correctly.
After someone claims a date, mark it off on your child's calendar so you know what's still available.

Can the same date be chosen more than once?
Can the same date be chosen more than once?
Each date can only be filled once on your child’s individual calendar. The same date can be chosen on another student’s calendar. If someone would like to give more, they’re welcome to choose multiple available dates!
Does my child have to fill the entire calendar?

No! Students can participate at any level. Every date filled helps support Lincoln Douglas, and students can earn incentives along the way based on the number of dates they fill.
What if someone wants to donate an amount that doesn’t match an available date?

No problem! They can choose another available date—or multiple dates—that add up to the amount they’d like to give. If they don’t want to choose a date, they can also use our No Fuss Donation option to give any amount.
How do online donations work?

Donations can be made securely through Zeffy using our fundraiser link or QR code. When donating, be sure to enter the student’s name and select their grade/teacher so we can give the correct student and classroom credit. Don’t forget to mark the corresponding date(s) on your child’s calendar!
Do I still return the calendar if all of our donations were made online?

Yes! Please return your child’s completed calendar in the provided envelope by the fundraiser deadline, even if all donations were made through Zeffy. We use the calendar to determine student incentives and prizes.
What if I have more than one child at Lincoln-Douglas?

Each child participates separately with their own calendar and envelope. For online donations, please make a separate Zeffy transaction for each child. For cash/check donations, return each child’s donations with their individual calendar and envelope. This helps us make sure each student and classroom receives the correct credit.

What is the No Fuss option?
Want to support the fundraiser without filling a calendar? Our No Fuss Donation option allows you to simply make a donation in any amount. No collecting, no calendar, no fuss! No Fuss donations are general PTO donations and do not count toward individual student prizes or classroom incentives.

Students earn incentives based on the number of calendar dates they fill. Check out the Incentive Flyer for details on prizes, special privileges, house points, and classroom incentives.

Our goal is to raise $10,000! We are continuing to work toward our larger goal of adding a permanent shade structure to the playground, while PTO funds also help support field trips, student programs, classroom needs, special events, and other school improvements. Because we’re running this fundraiser ourselves instead of using an outside fundraising company, 100% of the money raised stays with Lincoln Douglas PTO to benefit our students and school.
