Joining the Lincoln Douglas PTO is one of the easiest ways to support our students, teachers, and school community. Your membership helps provide classroom and teacher needs, staff appreciation, school improvements and special projects, field trips, yearbooks, and other opportunities that make a lasting impact throughout the school year.
And don't worry, joining the PTO doesn't mean you're signing up for a huge time commitment! You can be as involved as your schedule allows.
Membership also gives you a voice in the PTO. Come to meetings when you can, share ideas, learn what's happening at school, and help us decide how PTO funds and resources can best support Lincoln Douglas Elementary.
Parents, guardians, grandparents, teachers, staff, and other family members are all welcome to join the Lincoln Douglas PTO. Membership is $5 per person for the school year.
You don't have to attend every meeting.
You don't have to volunteer at every event.
You don't have to have a lot of extra time.
Joining simply means you want to be a part of supporting Lincoln Douglas Elementary.
Want to know what's happening at a PTO Meeting? We meet on the second Thursday of each month from September through May, with no meeting in December.
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Lincoln-Douglas Elementary — 3–5 Library
PTO meetings are open to all Lincoln Douglas parents, guardians, teachers, and staff. You don't have to be a PTO member or attend every month to join us; come when you can! At our meetings, we talk about upcoming events and fundraisers, share updates on current PTO projects, discuss ways we can support our students and staff, and plan what's ahead.
